Anyway into Selfridges and scooted past MAC to illamasqua I'd read great things about hollow for contouring and now I wanted! Anyway seeing hollow it was clearly not going to do a thing for my nw25 skin. A lovely girl sat me down and smothered me in gleam supernatural, aurora and Dixie blush - loved how it looked and hey MAC have about £300 a month off me why not share the love?! Off I swooshed with my pretty yellow Selfridges bag and glowing cheeks!
Anyway an hours drive later and I felt kinda of hot, not in a sexy way, in an oh my god my cheeks are killing me way. I got home checked out my new cheeks oh crikey red raw and lumpy and itchy itchy itchy!!! Washed my face and jumped in bed and woke up looking normal - well as normal as ill ever look!!
This morning I got ready for work and desperate to look glowing whacked on my new goodies. 20 minutes later my left cheek started to itch (running late for work I left it an jumped in the car) by dinner I looked like elephant woman! Rushed home to wash my face and try to conceal my sun burned lumpy looking cheeks! After spending almost 60 on cheek products I rang illamasqua and they agreed a refund I went back tonight and filled in an allergy form and got my money back. Gutted because they were beautiful but my skin just didn't like. Or maybe it was the MAC gods punishing me for betraying them......
